President Trump Meets EU Chief, Discusses various global issues

Washington: U.S. President Donald Trump met with the President of the European Union and discussed various global issues including trade, Iran, Israel, and Gaza.

President Trump expressed hope for a trade agreement with the European Union, stating, “If a deal is reached, it will benefit both sides.” He also emphasized that both the U.S. and EU seek fairness in trade.

Speaking about Iran, Trump criticized Tehran’s tone, saying, “Iran is not using good language. Maybe they don’t realize we are doing great things.”

Regarding Israel, President Trump said, “Israel has to decide on Gaza. I don’t know what’s going to happen there.” He confirmed that discussions about Israel also took place during the meeting.

Trump mentioned that there is a “50 percent chance” of a trade deal with the EU and that the U.S. is “close to a trade agreement with China.”

The meeting reflects ongoing U.S. efforts to reshape global trade ties while addressing regional conflicts and security concerns.
