Trump Threatens to Impose 25% Tariff on India if No Trade Deal Finalized

US President Donald Trump has threatened to impose a 25% tax on India.

Speaking to journalists, President Trump said that if India does not finalize a trade deal, it will have to pay a 25% tariff.

He stated that India has been a good friend, but it has imposed tariffs higher than almost all other countries.

He added that so far, no trade agreement has been finalized between the US and India.

It is worth noting that the US President had announced a 26% tariff on Indian goods in April, but its implementation was postponed until July.
