‘I Don’t Care What India Does with Russia:’ Trump Strikes Again on India

US President Donald Trump has again criticized India, expressing no interest in what the country does with Russia.

Posting on Truth Social, Trump wrote, “I don’t care what India does with Russia. They can take their dead economies down together, for all i care.”

Revealing the reason behind their little Past trade deals , Trump added, “We have done very little business with India, their Tariffs are too high, among the highest in the world.”

Meanwhile, he also talked about the dynamic of trades between US and Russia, “Russia and USA almost do no business together.”

Donald Trump escalated his criticism on Russia, calling former President Dmitry Medvedev a “failed” leader who “thinks he’s still President.” Trump warned that Medvedev was “entering very dangerous territory.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump announced that the United States will impose a 25% tariff on all goods imported from India starting August 1, 2025.

Trump said the reason for this move was that India has very high tariffs and strict trade barriers, which make it difficult for American companies to do business there. He shared this message on his social media platform, Truth Social.

Trump also said that India will face an additional penalty on August 1, but he did not explain what it would be or how much it would cost. He criticized India for buying most of its military weapons and energy from Russia, even during the war in Ukraine.
