Trump Deserves Nobel If He Ends Russia-Ukraine War: Clinton

Washington– Former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has said she would nominate Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize—if he manages to end the Russia-Ukraine war on terms that protect Ukraine’s territorial integrity.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Clinton wrote that Trump would deserve the honor if he can help bring peace while ensuring that Ukraine does not lose any land to Russia.

“If President Vladimir Putin agrees to withdraw from occupied Ukrainian regions, it would be a historic step for global peace,” she stated.

Currently, Russia controls nearly 18% of Ukrainian territory, which it claims as its own.

Clinton’s comments come after Trump recently suggested that some “territorial or geographical adjustments” could be part of a peace deal, though he did not provide further details.

She also mentioned that Trump believes he deserves a Nobel Prize for reducing tensions in conflicts like India-Pakistan, Armenia-Azerbaijan, and for helping with peace deals in the Middle East.

So far, several lawmakers and international figures have already proposed Trump’s name for a Nobel Peace Prize nomination.
