Iranian Supreme Leader Calls Israeli Actions Against Children ‘Unprecedented’
Tehran— Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei strongly condemned Israel over what he described as barbaric attacks against Palestinian children in Gaza, declaring such actions “unprecedented in history.”
In a post on social media, the Iranian leader wrote, “The Zionists open fire on children who have gone somewhere to receive food. Such actions are unprecedented in history as far as I know.”
The statement comes amid growing global outrage over reports of Israeli forces targeting civilians in Gaza. Humanitarian groups have repeatedly warned of famine, starvation, and worsening conditions due to the ongoing blockade and bombardment.
The Supreme Leader accused Israel of committing war crimes and called on the international community to intervene urgently to stop the bloodshed. He reiterated Iran’s unwavering support for the Palestinian cause and emphasized that the atrocities in Gaza must not be normalized or forgotten.
Tehran has consistently condemned Israel’s military actions in Gaza, framing them as crimes against humanity. The latest statement adds to mounting diplomatic pressure for an immediate ceasefire and international accountability for civilian killings.
Meanwhile, protests have erupted across several countries in solidarity with Palestinians, with demonstrators demanding stronger action from world powers and global institutions.
The Iranian leader’s remarks are expected to intensify debates at the United Nations and among Muslim-majority countries regarding collective measures to stop what many describe as a humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza.
