Birmingham Nightclub Shooting: One Man Critical, Four Injured in Bristol Street Attack
On Saturday, September 20, 2025, a shooting at Mango nightclub in Birmingham left one man in critical condition and three others injured. Police confirmed the violent incident happened around 03:00 BST on Bristol Street, one of the city’s busiest routes.

Arrests Made After Shooting
West Midlands Police confirmed that three suspects, aged in their 20s and 30s, were arrested shortly after the attack. The arrests took place on the M6 in Warwickshire, where officers stopped a car linked to the crime.
All three suspects are currently in custody on suspicion of violent disorder. Investigations are still ongoing.
Bristol Street Closed Off
Bristol Street has been sealed off since the early hours of the morning. Police confirmed the southbound route from Pagoda Island to Bromsgrove Street will remain closed for several hours.
The closure is causing delays as the road is one of the main routes into Birmingham city centre.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Acting Chief Inspector Michael Clarke has urged witnesses to come forward.
“This happened in a busy nightclub, on one of the main roads out of Birmingham. It’s vital that we hear from anyone who saw what happened or may have dashcam footage,” he said.
He also appealed to people inside Mango nightclub at the time of the shooting:
“If you recorded anything on your phone, or witnessed the attack, we need to hear from you urgently.”
