Iran Executes Man Accused of Spying for Israel
Iran has executed Bahman Choubi-asl, who was accused of being one of Israel’s top spies inside the country. The Supreme Court upheld his death sentence before the execution.
According to Iran’s judiciary, Choubi-asl was recruited by Israel’s Mossad to spy on important government institutions. He allegedly accessed sensitive data, created security breaches, and monitored shipments of electronic equipment.
Iran called his actions “corruption on earth,” a serious crime under Iranian law.
Tensions between Iran and Israel have increased in recent months, including secret attacks and cyber warfare. Iran has executed at least 10 people this year accused of spying for Israel, showing the rising conflict between the two countries.
