Netanyahu to Act if Hamas Rejects US Ceasefire Plan

30 September, 2025 12:07

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has warned Hamas after they rejected US President Donald Trump’s proposed Gaza ceasefire plan. Netanyahu said that if Hamas refuses the plan, Israel will complete its work. He added that the plan aligns with Israel’s principles to end the war and ensures Gaza will never be a threat to Israel again.

The ceasefire plan was announced by President Trump during a press conference at the White House with Netanyahu. Trump called it a historic day for peace in the Middle East and said the region is very close to a peace agreement. He mentioned that many Arab and Muslim leaders, including the presidents of Turkey and Indonesia, as well as Pakistan’s Prime Minister and Field Marshal, support the plan.

Trump also said that Netanyahu has accepted the peace plan, and if Hamas rejects it, Israel will have full US backing to eliminate Hamas.

Several Muslim countries, including Pakistan, Jordan, UAE, Indonesia, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Egypt, have expressed their support for Trump’s Gaza ceasefire plan. In a joint statement, their foreign ministers praised the plan’s focus on rebuilding Gaza, preventing forced displacement of Palestinians, achieving a ceasefire, and promoting a comprehensive peace process.

The statement also confirmed that President Trump assured these countries that there would be no approval for annexation of the West Bank.
