Trump Gives Hamas Deadline to Accept Gaza Peace Plan or Face “Hell”
US President Donald Trump has issued a strong warning to Hamas, telling them to accept a new peace plan for Gaza within three to four days—or face severe consequences.
Speaking to military leaders in Virginia, Trump said the plan, created with Israel’s support, aims to end the ongoing Gaza war that started in October 2023. He said, “We need only one signature, and if that does not happen, they will face hell.”
The peace plan calls for:
An immediate ceasefire
Hamas to release hostages within 72 hours
Complete disarmament of Hamas
Gradual withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza
Formation of a transitional authority led by Trump himself
The White House says many world powers, Arab and Muslim countries, and European nations support the plan as a potential way to end the conflict.
Hamas has not yet made an official statement but is reportedly discussing the proposal internally. Qatar is set to host talks between Hamas and Turkey to negotiate the plan’s details.
The plan excludes Hamas from future governing roles in Gaza, but members who disarm and join peaceful politics would receive amnesty.
Critics say the plan may be difficult to implement, especially because it demands Hamas’s full disarmament and places Trump in charge of Gaza’s transitional authority—something unusual in peace deals.
As the deadline approaches, international players hope Hamas will accept the agreement to avoid further violence.
