Qatar Calls for Restraint and Dialogue Amid Pakistan-Afghanistan Border Tensions

The State of Qatar has voiced serious concern over the recent escalation and mounting tensions along the border between Pakistan and Afghanistan, highlighting the potential impact on regional security and stability.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar has urged both Pakistan and Afghanistan to prioritize “dialogue, diplomacy, and restraint,” encouraging efforts to resolve differences peacefully and prevent any further escalation. The goal, Qatar emphasized, is to foster regional security and stability through mutual understanding and cooperation.

Reaffirming its commitment, Qatar also expressed strong support for ongoing regional and international initiatives aimed at enhancing global peace and security. The Ministry reiterated Qatar’s dedication to promoting the safety, security, and prosperity of the “brotherly Pakistani and Afghan peoples.”
