Trump Considers Cutting Some Trade Ties with China

Washington: US President Donald Trump has said he is considering ending some trade ties with China. He accused Beijing of intentionally stopping the purchase of U.S. soybeans, calling the move an attack on the U.S. economy.

Meanwhile, in Pakistan, the government has established a separate Tax Policy Office, aiming to reduce reliance on temporary tax measures, according to an official statement.

The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) is committed to maintaining a tight monetary policy and keeping inflation within the target range of 5% to 7%, the statement added.

Pakistan is also actively working on economic recovery after the recent flood damages and is taking steps to maintain stable foreign exchange reserves.
