Trump to File Lawsuit Against BBC Next Month
Washington: US President Donald Trump has announced that he plans to take legal action against the BBC next month. He said the case will be filed inside the United States and that he will seek one billion dollars in damages.
Trump said he will also discuss the matter with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
Speaking to reporters, Trump made several other strong statements. He claimed that the United States has more nuclear weapons than any other country and suggested that America may resume nuclear testing, similar to what “other countries” are doing.
On international issues, Trump said a decision has already been made regarding the situation in Venezuela, though he did not provide details. He also confirmed that the U.S. is still reviewing Saudi Arabia’s request for new fighter jets.
Trump added that senior U.S. officials held talks with their Chinese counterparts on Friday.
