According to the reports, the National Center of Meteorology (NCM) had already issued forecasts warning of these weather conditions.

In Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah, and surrounding areas, dark clouds blanketed the skies in the morning, bringing unusually cold weather. The NCM has warned that between December 16 and 19, the UAE could experience intensified weather, including more rain, cold winds, and a noticeable drop in temperatures.

The National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority (NCEMA) has issued alerts in response to the severe cold, rain, and potential snowfall. Authorities in Dubai and Abu Dhabi have urged residents to take precautionary measures, advising the public to follow government instructions to stay safe and avoid accidents during the adverse weather.
