Tehran Warns of Crushing Response to Any Aggression

Tehran: Ali Shamkhani, an advisor to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Hosseini Khamenei, has warned the United States and Israel that any aggression against the country will be met with a strong and decisive response.

According to a report by an international news agency, his statement came at a time when US President Donald Trump had threatened to prevent the Iranian government from acquiring new weapons.

The reports additionally said that Ali Shamkhani, in a statement released on the social media platform X, said that Iran’s missile and defense capabilities cannot be limited under any pressure and no external permission is required for this. He said that Iran will take all necessary measures to protect its security.

This reaction came after a joint news conference between Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, in which the US president said that the United States is ready for negotiations, but if Iran tries to acquire nuclear capabilities again, any possible threat will be immediately eliminated.

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baqaei also said that Iran is closely monitoring Israeli activities and is further strengthening its defense preparations. He warned that the response to any new adventure would be much harsher than the previous 12-day war.

These strong statements from Iran come at a time when there are reports that Israel is pushing for joint action with the United States to limit Iran’s ballistic missile program.

Meanwhile, Iran has stopped cooperating with International Atomic Energy Agency inspectors and passed a new law that requires the approval of the National Security Council for any future nuclear inspections.
