Arab Coalition Claims Arms Found in UAE Shipment

The cargo arriving from the United Arab Emirates at the southern Yemeni port of Mukalla included containers loaded with weapons and ammunition, the Arab coalition said on Tuesday.

The United Arab Emirates had said in a statement that the cargo did not contain weapons and was intended for Emirati forces. The Arab coalition’s statement came in response to this.

The coalition said, “We have information that such weapons were to be transported and distributed to locations in Hadhramaut, Yemen.”
