Iran Vows Immediate, Decisive, Comprehensive Retaliation to Any Aggression

The Iranian Foreign Ministry has strongly condemned the interventionist statements of the US president and other officials, making it clear that Iran’s response to any kind of aggression will be extremely swift and devastating.

According to a report by Mehr News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran said in a statement issued on Friday evening that the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemns the interventionist statements of the US President and other officials regarding Iran’s internal affairs.

The statement further said that such irresponsible stances, which are a continuation of America’s bullying and illegal behavior against the Iranian nation, are not only a clear violation of the UN Charter and the fundamental principles and rules of international law regarding respect for the national sovereignty of countries, but they are also tantamount to inciting Iranian citizens to violence and terrorism.

The Foreign Ministry added that recalling the long history of criminal interventions by various US governments in Iranian affairs, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs considers the claim of sympathy for the great Iranian nation as hypocritical, aimed at deceiving public opinion and covering up the numerous crimes committed against Iranians.

The statement further said that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs recalls the duties and responsibilities of the Security Council and its Secretary-General, in accordance with the Charter of the United Nations, to ensure international peace and security against the belligerent unilateralism of the United States, and emphasizes that Iranians will not allow any malicious interference in their dialogue and interaction to resolve their problems.

The statement concluded by saying that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs considers the threatening remarks of US officials against Iran to be in line with the Zionist regime’s policy of increasing tensions in the region and emphasizes that the Islamic Republic of Iran’s response to any aggression will be immediate, decisive, and comprehensive.

Obviously, the responsibility for the consequences of such a situation, which could further destabilize the entire region, will fall entirely on the US government.
