Tehran—Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araqchi, speaking to journalists after attending a meeting of the parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, said that a review of the international situation, US aggression, and issues related to America’s illegal behavior towards the world were included in the meeting’s agenda.
The Iranian Foreign Minister said that when Trump talks about peace in the language of power, he is actually talking about the law of the jungle and saying that whoever has more power can do whatever he wants.
He said that this is tantamount to destroying the achievements of the international community over the past eighty years.
The Iranian Foreign Minister said that today’s meeting reviewed the latest situation in Venezuela. He said that the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Venezuela is still open, and our ambassador and other colleagues are carrying out normal activities.
Abbas Araqchi said that there were discussions about cooperation with neighboring countries, and we believe that many difficulties can be overcome by promoting cooperation and relations with neighboring countries.
