New Estate Drama: Clash Between King Charles & Prince William
Prince and Princess Wales could once again face a major impediment to their holiday plan because of King Charles’ decision, which is already proceeding, about the major changes in the valuable part of the property.
The Prince and Princess of Wales had shifted to their new home at Windsor over two months ago and have already received criticism for cordoning off a large area surrounding Forest Lodge, which has inconvenienced many residents living there.
About two months ago, Prince William and Princess Kate relocated to Windsor, but they were criticized for restricting access to the vast area around Forest Lodge, which made life difficult for the other people who lived there.
The Royal Estate appears to be on the verge of a fresh, “dirtier” battle, this time at Sandringham, which is King Charles’s personal property.
Although King Charles’s property Norfolk is considered a private one for him, and the late Queen Elizabeth gifted Anmer Hall to Prince William and Princess Kate as a wedding present, they used it as their getaway.
The Grade II-listed Georgian, which is located less than a mile away, is expected to be impacted by new planning documents that have been presented to King’s Lynn and West Norfolk Borough Council. The OK! Magazine reports that a plan has been put forth to construct a huge manure pit on land that would be about 86 by 46 meters in size and have a capacity of 2,160,538 gallons of slurry.
The local residents utter their worries about the effects they would have faced, as per the approval still awaited.
“There is real anxiety locally that a development of this size will bring with it an overwhelming smell and disrupt daily life,” one resident told the outlet.
“People are genuinely wondering how William and Kate must feel about having something like this so close to their home,” they continued.
“There is also a sense of irony that the proposal is coming from William’s own father, the King, which only adds to the unease.”
