Prince George’s Future Education Plans: Royal Traditions Break

Prince George’s future education plan is one of major change in his life as preparations are underway.

As parents, Prince William and Princess Kate seem tensed about Prince George starting his secondary school this year, and it seems that the royals have already decided not to follow the young royal’s decision, because the parents have already confirmed Prince George’s school place. It has been widely believed that the young royal will follow in his father’s footsteps and study at the famous Eton College near Windsor.

A source said, “While Eton would be the obvious choice because it is on their doorstep and where William went, they are leaning towards other schools. I’m hearing Marlborough is the front-runner.”

While the Waleses are not shy of breaking royal tradition, they are not going to compromise on the security of their kid. Eton and Marlborough both have enough property for royal protection personnel to be with George 24/7, as William and Harry previously received round-the-clock protection.

The source added, “I genuinely don’t think they’ve one hundred percent decided, but there is talk among the Marlborough set that they’ve allocated a house for George and that security has been a big issue.”

Moreover, Ingrid Seward, editor-in-chief of Majesty Magazine, repeated the same notion that security will determine the final choice for George.

“I expect we will be told later on in the summer at the very last minute, when the security detail has been organized, but clearly it’s an important consideration.”

Until the security is addressed, the announcement is placed on hold for the royal family.

George is currently in his final year at Lambrook, a mixed independent school in Berkshire. His younger siblings, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, also attend the same school.
