Explosion Hits Eight-Story Building in Iran’s Bandar Abbas

TEHRAN, Iran — An explosion occurred at an eight-story building in the Gulf coast city of Bandar Abbas, according to state media. The cause of the blast remains unknown.

The explosion took place near Moallem Boulevard, reportedly destroying two floors of the structure, several vehicles, and nearby shops.

Rescue and firefighting services were dispatched immediately to the scene to provide emergency assistance.
