Dutch Researcher Frank Hoogerbeets Issues New February Earthquake Warning
Dutch earthquake researcher Frank Hoogerbeets has issued a fresh warning, predicting the possibility of strong earthquakes between February 13 and 15.
Hoogerbeets, known for his controversial forecasts, urged the public to stay vigilant not only for potential tremors but also for what he called an unexpected “surprise.” He attributes this warning to a specific alignment of the Earth, Moon, and Jupiter.
While his warnings have sparked discussion on social media, the scientific community continues to dismiss them as lacking scientific basis. Experts emphasize that planetary alignments have no proven connection to seismic activity on Earth.
According to Hoogerbeets, seismic activity may increase in the coming days. He claims the current “planetary geometry” — the straight-line alignment of the Earth, Moon, and Jupiter between February 13 and 15 — could trigger heightened earthquake risks.
In a video shared online, he stated:
“I recommend that people remain extremely cautious between 13 and 15 February, as a major earthquake could occur during this period, along with an unexpected event.”
Hoogerbeets first gained widespread attention following the February 2023 Türkiye earthquake, which he claims to have predicted three days in advance. Despite this, mainstream scientists maintain that such predictions are not supported by established geophysical research.
