Nancy Guthrie’s Doorbell Camera May Hold Clues in Arizona Abduction Case
Authorities investigating the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie are examining her doorbell camera, which “may have recorded her abductor.” According to Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos, there was no activity at Guthrie’s residence until 1:47 a.m., when the doorbell camera disconnected.
While the camera’s software detected movement, “the video isn’t available.” The device broadcast a live feed but did not automatically save the footage, as Nancy did not have a subscription plan required for recording.
Sheriff Nanos confirmed that investigators contacted the camera’s manufacturer in an effort to access any data from the night of Nancy’s abduction. However, officials revealed that “there was no way to recover any video that night as Nancy did not have a subscription.”
Authorities continue their search and urge anyone with information related to Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance to come forward.
