Trump Says Court Decision Influenced by Foreign Interests

WASHINGTON—President Donald Trump delivered a series of scathing rebukes from the White House after the Supreme Court ruled against his trade agenda.

“The Supreme Court’s decision is very disappointing,” President Trump stated. “It is my opinion that the court was swayed by foreign interests and a political movement far smaller than people would ever think.”

The president suggested that the ruling would be celebrated abroad, remarking, “Other countries must be dancing with joy right now. But their joy will not last long, I can assure you of that.”

Addressing the 6–3 decision, the President criticized the justices as “politicized” and claimed they were “easily influenced by the interests of others” rather than the Constitution. Despite the legal setback, he remained defiant regarding his trade agenda. “We have a ‘Plan B’ ready to go. This decision will not stop us from protecting American workers,” he told reporters.
