King Charles Skip Meeting With Harry: No Reunion Expected

King Charles forthcoming trip to United States to celebration of America’s 250^th Anniversary, will reportedly not expected to visit to California to see his son and grandchildren.

The King’s upcoming trip to the United States will not include a visit to California to see his son Prince Harry and his grandchildren Archie and Lilibet, according to US sources. King Charles and Queen Camilla expected to visit the United States in April to celebrate the country’s 250th anniversary, with their tightly-packed timetable reportedly not having any room for a visit to Duke of Sussex’s side of the country.

According to The Time reports, the trip is not likely to involve a flight to the West Coast to see Harry, Meghan and their children, as the relationship between the King and his youngest son remains tense after years of distancing.

Though, the nonappearance of a California break will certainly fuel gossip about the remaining gap within the Royal Family.

Jennie Bond a formal BBC royal correspondent, believes that there will simply be no time for Charles to visit his son, “There is very little downtime, and I can’t think that the King would fly across the whole country to visit Harry and his family in California.”

She more added “I’m sure Charles would love to meet his grandchildren again, and so I suppose it’s conceivable that the Sussexes could take a flight to New York, or wherever the King and Queen are based, for a brief reunion.

Further she said, “But visits like this are about as official as it can get, and it’s really not a time for patching up severely strained family relationships. A meeting would also inevitably draw the headlines away from the purpose of the visit.

“So, I think it’s an extremely long shot that they’ll meet up in the States. Far more likely is that Harry and co will be encouraged to keep a low profile during the trip. ”
