London: British Airways has announced the cancellation of its flights to Tel Aviv and Bahrain until March 3, citing safety concerns amid the evolving regional situation.

In an official statement, the airline confirmed that it has suspended services to Tel Aviv and Bahrain up to and including March 3. Additionally, Thursday’s scheduled flight to Amman has also been cancelled.

“We are closely monitoring the situation and have taken the operational decision to cancel our flights to Tel Aviv and Bahrain up to and including 03 March and have cancelled today’s service to Amman,” the airline stated.

British Airways emphasized that passenger safety remains its highest priority. The company said it is actively contacting affected customers to inform them about alternative travel options, including rebooking or refunds.

The decision comes as several international carriers reassess flight operations across parts of the Middle East due to heightened security concerns. Travelers planning to fly to Tel Aviv, Bahrain, or Amman are advised to check the airline’s official website or contact customer service for the latest updates regarding their bookings.

Further updates are expected as airlines continue to evaluate the regional security environment.
