Princess of Wales Celebrates Indian Culture in Leicester
Catherine, the Future Queen of Britain has made a surprise visit today to celebrate Britain’s Indian community, where she was mobbed by well-wishers.
For the outing, the Princess of Wales donned an all-white ensemble, saw the best of Bollywood in Britain and she was given a red flower garland necklace as she arrived at The Aakash Odedra Company, as she saw Indian dancing, tasted chai and visited family businesses on Leicester’s ‘Golden Mile’.
Rebecca English, Royal commentator also shared the stunning moments of the future queen on her official Instagram, showing Princess Catherine dancing at the Shreeji Dham Haveli, a Hindu temple in Leicester.

After enjoying dance performances, Kate took a five-minute go down to the local sari shop and then, at crossed the road, in Bobby’s restaurant to try some chai, a family-run business named after a 1973 Bollywood film.
the Princess of Wales reacted to the heartfelt welcome and said: “Thank you so much for having me. I’m looking forward to seeing some of the work I’ve heard some fantastic things.”
Kate and William were at opposite ends of the country on Thursday, with William visiting Cornwall for St Piran’s Day.
