Iran Launches Wave 33 of Operation True Promise 4 with Kheibar Shekan Missiles

TEHRAN: Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced the launch of Wave 33 of Operation True Promise 4, deploying a large salvo of advanced Kheibar Shekan ballistic missile targeting locations in Israel amid the ongoing regional conflict.

According to a statement issued by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the latest wave involved solid-fuel ballistic missiles equipped with one-ton warheads, designed to strike high-value targets with high precision.

Missiles Target Tel Aviv

Iranian officials claimed that several strategic locations inside Tel Aviv, in Israel, were struck during the operation. The IRGC stated that more than ten Kheibar Shekan missiles hit targets in what it described as the “heart of Tel Aviv.”

The military statement emphasized that the attacks delivered “precise and devastating blows”, adding that air raid sirens would continue sounding across Israeli territory.

“We had said that the state of sirens to sirens in the occupied territories would not stop,” the IRGC statement said.

US Military Facility Also Targeted

In addition to the strikes inside Israel, the IRGC claimed that the fifth naval base of US forces in the region was also targeted during this phase of the operation using the same missile system.

The statement did not provide further details about the location or extent of damage to the alleged target.

Claims of Iron Dome Penetration

Iranian authorities further stated that some missiles successfully penetrated Israel’s Iron Dome defense system.

According to the IRGC, images and videos circulating on social media allegedly show missile impacts despite what it described as “heavy enemy air defenses.”

However, independent verification of these claims has not been confirmed by Israeli authorities.

Escalation in the Iran–Israel Conflict

The latest missile wave comes amid rising tensions between Iran and Israel, with both sides exchanging threats and military actions in recent weeks.

Iranian officials said the ongoing Operation True Promise 4 is part of what they describe as defensive retaliation following alleged attacks on Iranian territory and the killing of Ali Khamenei.

Tehran maintains that its missile operations are legitimate acts of self-defense under international law, while the situation continues to raise concerns about wider instability across the Middle East.
