Iran Launches 54th Wave of “Operation True Promise 4”
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced the launch of the 54th wave of Operation True Promise 4. An IRGC spokesman stated that this specific wave has been named “Ya Zahra.”
Throughout the operation, the IRGC confirmed that enemy targets across the region were struck with missiles, reporting that Sejjil missiles were deployed in combat for the first time. In addition to the Sejjil, Khorramshahr, Kheibar Shekan, Qadr, and Emad missiles were also utilized in the strikes.
According to the Revolutionary Guards, four U.S. airbases were attacked using a combination of missiles and drones, specifically targeting critical infrastructure, command centers, and air traffic control towers. The IRGC maintains that these assets successfully hit multiple U.S. military targets in the region. Furthermore, an IRGC spokesman noted that the missiles used in these waves were mostly manufactured a decade ago, clarifying that Iran’s newest missile technology has not yet been deployed.
