Russia Lodges Complaint Against Israel Over Strikes Near Bushehr Nuclear Plant

Russia has formally filed a complaint against Israel following reported attacks near Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant in Iran, warning that the strikes have put Russian personnel at risk.

According to a Hebrew media outlet, Moscow strongly condemned the reported Israeli strikes targeting Bushehr airport and surrounding areas in the southern province, which lie close to the nuclear facility.

“The attacks endanger the lives of Russian personnel working in and around the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant,” Russia stated.

The Russian embassy in the Israeli-occupied territories has reportedly submitted an official complaint along with its demands to Israeli authorities.

Reports further indicate that the Israeli strikes in Bushehr hit locations including residential quarters linked to one of Russia’s nuclear experts stationed in the region.
