Iran’s Supreme Leader Sends Blunt Message to Enemies After Larijani’s Martyrdom

Tehran: Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei gave a blunt message to the enemy following the assassination of Ali Larijani, secretary of Iran’s National Security Council.

According to Al Jazeera, Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei issued a statement about a day after the official confirmation of Ali Larijani’s martyrdom.

In a statement carried by the semi-official Iranian news agency Tasnim, Mojtaba Khamenei said he was deeply saddened to hear the news of Ali Larijani’s martyrdom.

He described the martyr as an intelligent, determined individual and a prominent figure in Iran’s political system.

Mojtaba Khamenei said that the assassination of such a figure undoubtedly shows his importance and the extent of the hatred of the enemies of Islam against him.

“The enemies of Islam should know that this blood flowing into the roots of the tree of the Islamic system makes it even stronger, and of course every blood has a price that the guilty murderers of the martyrs will soon have to pay.”
