Trump Says Strong Negotiations Underway with Iran

US President Donald Trump addressed the media regarding ongoing tensions, saying, “Hopefully, the ongoing conflict will be resolved,” stated President Trump.

The president noted that talks are ongoing with a “respected” Iranian leader, though not the Supreme Leader. President Trump stated that detailed and constructive talks will continue throughout the week.

“There have been strong negotiations with Iran,” the US president remarked. President Trump claimed that agreement has been reached on several important points.

The president noted that both sides are motivated, stating, “They want to make a deal, and we also want to make a deal.”

“We’ll see where these talks go,” the president added regarding the future of the negotiations.

The US president mentioned he has not yet heard from Iran’s new supreme leader. President Trump raised questions about the status of the Iranian supreme leader, stating it is unknown if he is currently alive.

“I don’t want him killed,” President Trump remarked during the media talk.

The US president remains determined to finalize a deal with Iran. President Trump suggested that the current situation in Iran could be characterized as “regime change.”

A deal with Iran could be reached in “five days or less,” according to the president’s claims.
