Hezbollah launches record 85 attacks in one day, hits Israeli war ministry
Hezbollah carried out many attacks on Israeli military targets over the past 24 hours, marking a sharp increase in fighting.
According to Lebanese media, Hezbollah fighters used rockets, missiles, and drones to strike Israeli positions deep inside Israeli-controlled areas. They also fought directly with Israeli troops in several border towns, including Qouzah, Taybeh, Naqoura, and Maroun al-Ras.
During these clashes, Hezbollah targeted Israeli military equipment such as tanks, bulldozers, and vehicles. Several Israeli bases and troop positions were also hit by drone attacks, including areas like Shomera, Meron, and Kiryat Shmona.
Hezbollah also used surface-to-air missiles, which forced an Israeli fighter jet to pull back and reportedly hit a helicopter.
In addition, the group fired more than 100 rockets in about 90 minutes, targeting multiple locations including Kiryat Shmona, Nahariya, Safad, and areas near Haifa. Other strikes hit military sites, command centers, and logistical bases.
In a separate statement, Hezbollah said it launched precision missiles at the Israeli Ministry of War in Tel Aviv and also attacked an intelligence base near the city.
There are no clear reports yet about damage or casualties.
Hezbollah said these attacks were in response to Israeli strikes on civilians and infrastructure in Lebanon. The group’s recent operations have increased in intensity, with reports saying it has been carrying out multiple attacks every hour.
One of the major recent strikes reportedly reached about 200 kilometers inside Israeli-controlled territory, showing the growing range and scale of the conflict.
