Iranian Commandos Reportedly Plan ‘Hard, Swift’ Strikes on US Targets

Iranian commando units from the army’s 65th Airborne Brigade, known as NOHED, are reportedly preparing to carry out a heavy strike against US interests in coordination with the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Saberin Special Forces Brigade, according to a report.

Assessments cited by Mehr news agency indicate that following the escalation of US-Israeli operations, Iranian special forces and commando units have undertaken detailed planning for a “hard, swift and painful” strike on American targets.

Iranian military planners reportedly consider operations such as the capture of American officials, military personnel, and business figures among the most effective measures, drawing on precedents from incidents involving US nationals in the 1980s.

The report noted that the potential geographic scope of such operations could span from Iraq’s Kurdistan region to Persian Gulf countries, including Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, and Kuwait.
