Iran Rejects US Demands Amid Ongoing Deadlock

Iran continues to refuse U.S. demands as a persistent deadlock remains at the negotiating table. Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baqai characterized the conditions set by Washington as both unreasonable and excessive, further describing the proposals sent by the United States as inappropriate and illogical.

Baqai clarified that there has been no direct contact or formal negotiations with the U.S. so far, noting that Tehran has only received American messages through intermediaries. He emphasized that the Iranian government is fully aware of the framework required for any potential talks.

Striking a skeptical tone, Baqai warned that everyone should be cautious when America speaks of diplomacy. He concluded by questioning the sincerity of Washington’s efforts, asking how many people within the United States actually take their own government’s diplomatic claims seriously.
