Iran to continue supporting resistance against American-Zionist enemy: Leader tells Hezbollah

Supreme Leader of Iran Mojtaba Khamenei has reaffirmed Iran’s continued support for regional resistance movements in a message addressed to Naim Qassem, emphasizing Tehran’s long-standing stance against what he described as the American and Zionist adversaries.

According to Hezbollah, the message underscores the Islamic Republic’s commitment to maintaining support for resistance forces in the region. The policy, the letter states, remains rooted in principles established by the late Iranian leadership and key figures within the resistance movement.

In his message, Khamenei highlighted the legacy of Ali Khamenei and former Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah, describing their leadership as foundational to the continuation of resistance efforts. He stressed that steadfastness in the face of powerful adversaries has been a defining trait of the movement.

The Iranian leader also referenced prominent figures such as Qassem Soleimani, along with members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and the national army, noting their roles as evidence of the enduring path of resistance.

The message further emphasized that the history of resistance movements is marked by sacrifice, resilience, and leadership committed to defending the broader Muslim community. Figures like Nasrallah and Hashem Safieddine were cited as examples of dedication and perseverance.

Khamenei also expressed appreciation for the condolences extended by Hezbollah over the loss of Iranian leadership figures, acknowledging the solidarity shown by the group’s members.

Addressing current leadership, he stated that Naim Qassem now carries the responsibility of guiding Hezbollah at a critical time. The message conveyed confidence in his leadership abilities, including his capacity to navigate ongoing regional challenges.
