Melania Trump Denies Epstein Links, but what about her ‘Love, Melania' email to Ghislaine Maxwell?
April 10, 2026 – U.S. First Lady Melania Trump has publicly denied any connection with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, calling recent claims “false” and misleading.
Speaking at the White House, she said the allegations linking her to Epstein should “end today.” She made it clear that she was not introduced to Donald Trump by Epstein and had no knowledge of his crimes.
“I was never involved in any capacity,” she said. “I was not a participant.” Her statement comes amid renewed public discussion about Epstein’s network and past associations.
Melania Trump also addressed a resurfaced 2002 email she sent to Ghislaine Maxwell, who was later convicted for her role in Epstein’s activities. In the message, she used friendly language, writing a short note that included the phrase “Love, Melania.”
She described the email as a simple and polite reply, saying it was “casual correspondence” and did not indicate any deeper relationship. According to her, such communication was common in social circles at the time.
Melania added that she first met Epstein in 2000 at an event where he was already present with Donald Trump. She rejected any suggestion that Epstein played a role in her relationship with the president.
In her remarks, she also called for justice for Epstein’s victims. She urged Congress to allow survivors to share their experiences publicly if they wish, and to have their testimonies officially recorded.
The statement is seen as a rare and direct response from the First Lady on a sensitive issue, as public attention continues to focus on Epstein’s past connections and those linked to his network.
