Prince Harry Sued by Sentebale in Defamation Case

12 April, 2026 17:36

The new awful news about Duke of Sussex, a petition filed against Princ Harry, by his co-founded charity. On Friday, April 10, GB News reported that Prince Harry is facing serious legal issues after the Board of Trustees and the Executive Director of Sentebale filed a defamation lawsuit against him in court.

In the lawsuit, the charity—co-founded in 2006 by Prince Harry and Prince Seeiso—alleges that the Duke and former trustee Mark Dyer “sparked a wave of cyberbullying.”

Since stepping down as patron of the charity last year, Prince Harry—the younger son of King Charles III—has been engaged in a bitter public exchange of words with the organization’s chair, Sophie Chandauka.

The charity released a statement, which said that Sentebale has begun legal action in the High Court of England and Wales.

“The charity seeks the court’s intervention, protection, and restitution following a coordinated adverse media campaign conducted since 25 March 2025 that has caused operational disruption and reputational harm to the charity, its leadership, and its strategic partners.”

The organization more stated, “The proceedings have been brought against Prince Harry and Mark Dyer, identified through evidence as the architects of that adverse media campaign, which has had significant viral impact and triggered an onslaught of cyber-bullying directed at the charity and its leadership.”

They further stated that the executives had been affected by a damaging media campaign, as misleading narratives about Sentebale and its leadership spread through the press.

They also accused Prince Harry of attempting to disrupt the leadership’s relationships with staff, as well as with current and prospective partners, and “the forced diversion of leadership time and resources into managing a reputational crisis not of the charity’s making.”

The statement went on to say, “The Board and Executive Director have taken this legal action to secure that protection. The costs of doing so are met entirely by external funding and no charitable funds have been used.”

They noted, “The Board and Executive Director trust that those who believe in Sentebale’s mission will understand why this legal action, whilst difficult, was necessary and important, and will continue to stand with us as we focus on the work ahead.”

The charity come to conclude the official message, “Sentebale’s focus remains where it has always been: the children and young people of Lesotho and Botswana. Sentebale does not intend to comment further on this matter while legal proceedings are ongoing.”

As of now, Prince Harry has not yet responded to the matter.
