France Imposed Travel Sanctions on Atmar Ben Gwer

France has banned Israel’s far-right National Security Minister Atmar Ben-Gwer from entering French territory.

French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrow announced the decision, saying the move reflected growing international outrage over the treatment of members of the Gaza flotilla.

“From today, Atmar Ben-Gwer is banned from entering French territory,” the French foreign minister wrote on social media platform X.

He added that he and his Italian counterpart are also calling on the European Union to impose sanctions against Atmar Ben-Gwer.
