Iran FO Spokesperson says MOU Will be Ready Soon Via Pakistan

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baqai has said that work is underway to finalize a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between Iran and the United States through ongoing negotiations mediated by Pakistan.

Esmail Baqai also said that any system or procedure related to the Strait of Hormuz should be agreed upon between Iran, Oman and other countries bordering this important waterway and that the United States has nothing to do with this matter.

According to the foreign news agency Reuters, the spokesman said that we are still very far from an agreement and very close, however, American officials are changing their position repeatedly.
