Iranian Security Committee Chief and White House Deputy Chief of Staff in Verbal Clash
A heated exchange took place on social media platform X between Iranian politician Ebrahim Azizi and White House Deputy Chief of Staff Dan Scavino.
Ebrahim Azizi, who heads Iran’s parliamentary committee on national security and foreign policy, and Dan Scavino traded sharp remarks about the military capabilities of Iran and the United States.
The dispute intensified after Azizi shared a video and image related to the Khyber Shekan missile and its target strike. In the caption, he wrote, “Now we will see what happens.”
Responding to the post, Dan Scavino mocked the video and wrote that it was “laughable,” adding that artificial intelligence was “nonsense,” and comparing it to what he described as Iran’s underground bunkers.
Azizi quickly replied to the White House official, questioning whether the reported departure of nearly 9,000 American citizens from the region and the alleged destruction of US military bases were also the result of artificial intelligence.
The Iranian politician ended his response with a sarcastic smiling emoji, further highlighting the tense tone of the online exchange.
The social media dispute has drawn attention as tensions between Iran and the United States continue to remain a major focus in regional and international politics.
