Royal Family Gathers as Peter Phillips Remarries in Cotswolds Ceremony

Peter Phillips eldest son of Princess Anne, got married with NHS paediatric nurse Harriet Sperling, at a quiet and heartfelt ceremony in All Saints Church, Kemble, Cirencester on Saturday June 6 2026.

For the family, the wedding was special moment, highlighted how royal customs have changed over the years, especially on divorce and remarriage. They required distinct approval to have a church wedding meanwhile both had been married before.

In the royals it made a history, as Peter being the first grandchild of Queen Elizabeth II to remarry in an English church, and Princess Anne was there to see her son get married, making the event more meaningful for her.

The bride Harriet bridal looked is so sophisticated, she wore a lace wedding dress with a long veil and tiara, and her bouquet included lily of the valley, as a tribute a flower associated with Queen Elizabeth II.

Harriet, before meeting Peter, she has a daughter from her pervious relationship and spent years raising her as a singer mother.
