Two killed in Israeli drone strike in southern Lebanon
Two people were killed in an Israeli drone strike near the town of Kfar Remen in southern Lebanon, according to local reports. The incident has drawn a strong reaction from Hezbollah.
The Israeli military reportedly targeted a vehicle near Kfar Remen with a drone strike. The two people inside the vehicle were killed at the scene.
Reports also said that Israeli forces opened fire on vehicles in the Nabatieh al-Fawqa area and dropped grenades from drones over the town of Baraachit. No casualties were reported in those incidents.
In another development, Israeli forces reportedly moved into the town of Ain Arab with bulldozers. Local residents were told to leave their homes before 5 p.m. or face the destruction of their houses.
Hezbollah strongly condemned the attacks and said that the firing on civilians and drone strikes on people involved in rescue efforts were serious violations of the ceasefire agreement.
The group warned that it would not remain silent and said the Israeli military would face consequences for these actions.
