Iranian General Warns US and Israel Against ‘Miscalculation’

The Commander of Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, Major General Ali Abdollahi, has warned the United States, Israel and their allies against any “miscalculation,” saying Iran’s Armed Forces are prepared to deliver a “harsh and regretful” response to any threat or military attack. The warning came in a message issued on Thursday ahead of funeral ceremonies for Iran’s Martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.

Abdollahi said the coming days reflect the determination of the Iranian people to avenge their martyred leader and cautioned Iran’s adversaries against taking actions that could further escalate tensions. He specifically named the United States, Israel and what he described as their regional and extra-regional accomplices, urging them to refrain from any moves against Iran.

The statement comes amid heightened regional tensions following the reported death of Ayatollah Khamenei. Iranian military officials have reiterated that the country remains on high alert and is prepared to defend its sovereignty against any perceived external aggression, underscoring Tehran’s readiness to respond decisively to potential threats.
