Iran Defense Ministry Says Country Will Respond to Any Aggression

Iran’s Defense Ministry spokesman Brigadier General Reza Talaei-Nik said the country will respond decisively to any act of aggression, while highlighting Iran’s domestic defense capabilities as a key element of its national strategy.
Speaking to reporters on Tuesday, Talaei-Nik said Iran follows diplomacy but would take action against what it considers aggression or violations of its red lines. He said past experiences had demonstrated Iran’s ability to provide what he described as effective and proportionate responses.
The spokesman said Iran would continue strengthening its defense capabilities, deterrence measures, and national security through domestic resources and experience. He also praised the large turnout at recent funeral ceremonies for Martyred Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, describing it as a sign of public support for the country’s leadership and revolutionary values.
Talaei-Nik added that sanctions and pressure from the United States and Western countries had not stopped Iran’s development, saying they had instead contributed to the growth of domestic industries, including the defense sector.
