Rana Sanaullah Says Pakistan Gaining International Recognition as Peace Advocate

Adviser to the Prime Minister Rana Sanaullah said Pakistan has gained significant respect at the international level and is increasingly being recognized as a country advocating for peace. Speaking during a program, he highlighted the country’s security challenges and sacrifices made in the fight against terrorism.

Sanaullah said there was a time when Pakistan faced frequent terrorist attacks and lost large numbers of lives, but the armed forces and the public made major sacrifices to combat terrorism. He said security operations had achieved progress and expressed confidence that the situation in Balochistan would improve and terrorist elements would face defeat.

Commenting on regional issues, Sanaullah said talks between the United States and Iran could take place publicly or privately, adding that avoiding public statements by all sides would be beneficial for peace efforts. He also said it was too early to discuss the timing or location of possible negotiations.
