Iran Claims Over 200 US Soldiers Killed in Retaliatory Attacks

Tehran: The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps has claimed that more than 200 American soldiers have been killed and a large number of personnel have been injured in Iranian retaliation during the ongoing tension with the United States.

Revolutionary Guards spokesman General Hossein Mohebbi rejected Washington’s figures on American casualties, calling them contrary to the facts.

In an interview with the Iranian news agency, General Hossein Mohebbi said that the Iranian attacks targeted American military installations in the region, including allegedly eight American military bases.

He claimed that 20 protective shelters at one location were also destroyed.

The Revolutionary Guards spokesman said that the United States should allow journalists to visit the affected military bases so that the real situation can be clear to the world. According to him, the US government is not revealing the full facts regarding the deaths and losses.

General Hossein Mohebi further claimed that 11 US military aircraft and helicopters were destroyed in Iranian attacks over the past two weeks, including an F-15 fighter jet, a P-8 maritime surveillance aircraft, a C-17 transport aircraft and 8 aerial refueling aircraft.

He also claimed that 17 spy and operational drones were also targeted in Iranian operations, including 8 modern drones.

On the other hand, the Revolutionary Guards have also warned Israel that if Tel Aviv joins the war again, it may face serious consequences.

Iranian forces say that they are keeping a close eye on possible Israeli intervention and have their strategy ready in this regard.

However, there has been no independent confirmation or denial of the Iranian claims by US officials and other relevant parties.
