Russian Missile Strikes Kill 15 Across Ukraine, Including 10 at Kyiv Drone Exhibition

At least 15 people have been killed in a series of Russian attacks across Ukraine, including 10 who died in ballistic missile strikes on an exhibition near Kyiv showcasing drone technology, Ukrainian officials said. President Volodymyr Zelensky said around 100 people were injured in the daytime attack, which was attended by prominent figures from Ukraine’s defense sector.

In eastern Ukraine, five people were killed when Russian glide bombs struck the city of Sloviansk. Earlier on Saturday, military officials also confirmed the deaths of two men in the northern city of Sumy. Zelensky said he had received intelligence indicating that Russia was preparing another large-scale missile strike that could occur within the next 48 hours.

Meanwhile, Ukraine launched retaliatory strikes inside Russia, with officials reporting that an attack on the city of Kirov killed six people and wounded 26. Ukrainian forces also targeted warehouses belonging to Wildberries, Russia’s largest online retailer. Following the attack near Kyiv, concerns briefly arose over the safety of Defense Ministry adviser Serhiy Beskrestnov, known as “Flash,” and military technology developer Lyuba Shypovych, but both later confirmed they were unharmed. Ukrainian Air Force spokesman Yuri Ihnat said Russia fired three ballistic missiles in the attack, with only one successfully intercepted.
