Hezbollah Chief Praises Iran’s Unity and Resilience Against US-Israeli Aggression

Hezbollah Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem has praised the resilience and unity of the Iranian people during what he described as three rounds of US-Israeli aggression against the Islamic Republic. Speaking on Sunday during an address marking Unity Week, Qassem said the United States and Israel had failed to achieve their objectives because of the Iranian nation’s unity and steadfastness.
Qassem referred to two joint US-Israeli attacks against Iran in June 2025 and February 2026, as well as another round of US strikes in July. He stressed that enemies would be unable to accomplish their goals as long as people remained committed to defending their rights and homeland, regardless of the sacrifices or casualties involved. He also warned that disagreements among Muslim governments should not create internal divisions or distract Muslims from what he called their principal enemies.
The Hezbollah chief further credited the late Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, with turning the concept of Muslim unity into a practical reality. He said Khamenei had also restored the Palestinian cause to its position as the foremost and overriding issue for the Muslim world, emphasizing the importance of solidarity and resistance in confronting regional challenges.
