Iran Army Ground Forces Maintain Full Combat Readiness

The commander of the Iranian Army’s Ground Forces, Brigadier General Ali Jahanshahi, has reaffirmed the force’s full combat readiness to confront any potential threat, saying Iranian troops have demonstrated their ability to conduct complex military maneuvers under intense enemy surveillance and fire.

Speaking during an inspection of the 16th Armored Division in Qazvin, Jahanshahi assessed the unit’s combat readiness, equipment and defensive capabilities. He stressed that Ground Forces units remain actively deployed along Iran’s borders to protect the country’s territorial integrity and maintain a continuous defensive posture.

Referring to the recent US-Israeli war against Iran, Jahanshahi said Iranian ground forces carried out extensive tactical movements across long distances while under enemy fire and surveillance. He noted that troops, heavy military equipment and ammunition were moved into designated positions despite intensive monitoring by reconnaissance drones, aircraft and spy satellites, demonstrating the forces’ ability to operate and reposition in highly contested environments.
