FBI Places Indian-Origin Fugitive Satinderjeet Singh on Ten Most Wanted List

The US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has added Indian-origin fugitive Satinderjeet Singh, also known as Goldy Brar, to its Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list over alleged involvement in organised crime, targeted killings, extortion and narcotics offences.
According to the FBI, Singh is allegedly associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi Organized Crime Group, which investigators say has operated across the United States, Canada and other countries. The agency describes Singh as armed, extremely violent and dangerous.
The FBI says Singh is wanted in connection with federal charges including racketeering conspiracy, extortion-related offences and conspiracy to distribute controlled substances.
US authorities allege that the Bishnoi organisation has been involved in violent crimes including targeted killings, shootings, kidnappings, extortion and trafficking in narcotics and weapons.
The FBI also says Singh and Lawrence Bishnoi have been charged in connection with the 2023 killing of Hardeep Singh Nijjar, a Sikh political and religious figure who was living in Canada. The allegations are part of an ongoing US federal case and have not been finally adjudicated.
The FBI said the US Justice Department’s Operation Hardball resulted in indictments against 37 defendants linked to three India-based transnational organised crime groups. At the time of the July announcement, 24 defendants had been arrested or were already in custody.
The Canadian government designated the Bishnoi enterprise as a terrorist entity in September 2025, according to the FBI.
The FBI has offered a reward of up to $1 million for information leading to Singh’s arrest and said apprehending him remains a priority for US law-enforcement agencies and their international partners.
